Raddin = Hero
Hodling = Blacksmith
Elder = Lidean (This one seriously sucks)
Sidekick = Gerald
Pet Wolf = I do not know perhaps not really name but more of a word, like "Fangs" but less over-used.
First scenario
Your parents send you out of the house to pay the blacksmith for the rake he made.
Father: "Hurry up Raddin! Bring this money to Hodling to pay for this rake he made."
A hero response might be stupid to give in this situation.
Anyway should you decide to talk to your parents again they will just repeat themselves.
"I already told you Raddin! Go pay the blacksmith for our new rake."
Outside there are generic peasants with generic responses.
"Oh hey there, Raddin! Have you heard about the orcs yet?"
"Ah, Raddin! I am afraid I do not have the time to talk."
The blacksmith will give you a choice, either give him the money or do him a favor.
"Hey Raddin! I have not seen you for quite some time. But I suppose your father send you. "
"Yes."
"I see, for the new rake I guess. Well I will give you a choice, you could just pay for the rake or do me a favor and hold the money yourself."
Choice time.
" Just take the money if you will." ---> "Are you being lazy here again ? Well you should pay the elder a visit anyway he had some errands to do."
" I will do you a favor." ----> "Great, I was afraid that perhaps you might be too tired . So, the thing is that I usually get my new delivery of metal each moon. I It is unusual for (name) to be late and I fear something might have happened to him. Why do not you go look for him perhaps one of his cart wheels is broken.
Choice
- "Sure, I can do that. " ----> "Great, let me know if he is okay. Also be careful, there might be orcs out there "
- "No, I would rather not." ----> "That will be x gold pieces then. Have a nice day."
Ask him about the orc raids: "I know nothing only rumors but elder Lidean assured me that our lord would protect us."
I propose running into your sidekick when leaving the smithy and having him join you.
If you did the side quest, going to the elder will progress naturally. If not I will include the dialogue for that as well.
Anyway, if you are doing the side quest the sidekick will come with you otherwise he will urge you to go to the elder with him.
So,
"Raddin, there you are! I was looking for you. The day has been really boring so far. What are you up to?
If helping the blacksmith: "I am doing Hodling a favor." ---> "Well, it sure beats doing nothing. Let us go check on that trader."
If not: "Not much really." ---> "You should come with me, my mother told me to help the elder."
Leaving the village, into the forest gives you a line about recognizing your pet wolf.
"Come here boy! Do not be mad at me, you know I may not let you in the village." or something along these lines, the description will explain more.

Later they come across the merchant's dead body and his crashed cart. They see a few wolves around eating from the body.
Sidekick: “Foul beasts! Now I see why they wont let your wolf in the village.”
Hero: “Surely you do not mean (Name), he is tame.”
Sidekick: “Sure, let us just fight these wolves, allright?”
After the battle with the wolves.
Hero: “Strange, never before have the wolves been so agressive.”
Sidekick: “Well let us just hope that your pet does not get mad as well. Either way, there is little we can do for (Name) now. “
Hero: “You are right, we should return to Hodling and tell him so that he can send some men to pick up the metal.”
Back at the smith
Smith: “So have you found out what happened to my delivery? Let us just hope that it did not fall into the hands of the orcs.”(These jokes are his way of dealing with the rumors.)
Hero: “We found the delivery but I am afraid that (Name) did not make it. “
Sidekick: “He was attacked by some of these bloody wolves.”
Smith: “A shame really, he was a good man. Why are the wolves being so agressive? Anyway, you should go and visit the elder I heard he could use a hand.”
Outside
Sidekick: “Come on, Raddin. Let us go to the elder we can use my father's boat to get there.”
(He says this exact same line if you chose not to do the side quest.)
At the elder's house
The Elder: “What is it? I am busy.”
Hero: “Hodling told us you could use some help.”
The Elder: “And ofcourse I have to ask for it to get any. Anyway now that you lazybones are here I guess I have a task for you.”
Sidekick: “And that would be?”
The Elder: “I would not be so cheeky if I were you. After all I still have not decided whether the wolves would be satisfied by a sacrifice or not.”
Hero: “Could you please tell us what that task might be, honorable elder?”
The Elder: “Finally some respect. Well I will be sending you two rascals to the forest along with some of the hunters to attack the wolf pack that has been harassing us. They have been abnormally agressive and you have to find out why.”
Hero: “Okay elder, right away.”
The Elder: “Here have some of this herbs I believe they might prove useful. No, not you Gerald you should learn some proper respect first.”
To the wolves, outside you meet up with the hunters.
Hunter (Name) : “So you guys are here to help us hunt down these beasts. (Optional when done side quest.) I heard you have some experience with wolves as well, that will come in handy.”
Raddin: “That is correct. Come here boy let us go on a hunt.”
Hunter: “Careful there, son. Wolves are dangerous.”
Raddin: “ (Name) is not dangerous! I tamed him.”
Hunter: “Better watch out, there is a reason he is not allowed in the village. Anyway according to these tracks the wolves should be a short distance to the west/east/south/north.”
They move to the wolves, with perhaps a “Great Wolf” as the pack leader.
Hunter: “There they are! Watch out for that big one.”
Gerald: “Let us kill those monsters!”
After the battle
Gerald: “I have to say Raddin, your wolf really did help us.”
Raddin: “I told you he was tame.”
Hunter: “Brace yourselves! There is another one coming.”
Another Hunter: “Is- is that a direwolf?
Direwolf appears and get killed
